Carol Fletcher Williams

Carol Fletcher Williams, 68, of Albany, GA died September 7, 2016. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Betty Jackson will officiate. A private family entombment will follow.

A native of Albany, GA, Carol graduated from Albany High School in 1966 and received her Bachelor of Education from Valdosta State University. She lived in Quitman, GA most of her adult life and served as Executive Director of the Presbyterian Home for over twenty years. Later she moved to Albany, GA and served as Administrator for Albany Health Care. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Albany, GA.

Survivors include three children, Jarrett Tennyson and her husband, Glenn, Kelly Sorrells and her husband, Burt all of Albany, GA and Hunter New, Jr. of Miami, FL, her mother and step-father, Amy and Kenneth Kimsey of Sylvester, GA, a brother, Kenny Fletcher and his wife, Nan of Valdosta, GA and four grandchildren, James, Jackson, Caroline and Emily.

The family will be at the residence of Jarrett and Glenn Tennyson, 2614 E. Doublegate Drive, Albany, GA, 31721.
