Carol Sue Abbott

Carol Sue Mitcheson Abbott, 57, of Albany, GA, died Friday, March 13, 2015 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. The family will have a visitation at Mathews Funeral Home on Sunday, March 15, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Born in Cherry Point, NC to the late John James Mitcheson and Rosemarie Boudreau Mitcheson, Carol was a 1977 graduate of Albany High School and was employed with Pearly's Famous Country Cooking for thirty two years. She was a member of Kinchafoonee Baptist Church and was also preceded in death by a brother, James Mitcheson.

Survivors include her husband, James Abbott, Albany, GA, two brothers, Bob Mitcheson (Sharon), Middleburg, FL, Edward A. (Eddie) Mitcheson, Albany, GA, three sisters, Patty Johnson, Albany, GA, Donna Adkins (Mike), Huntington, WV, Laura Mitcheson, Pass Christian, MS and an aunt, Francesanne Holodoliff, Nova Scotia.

In lieu of flowers those desiring may make memorials to the American Cancer Society in memory of Carol Sue Mitcheson Abbott.
