Carl Lanier Settles

Carl Lanier Settles, 49, of Albany, GA, passed away Tuesday November 4, 2014 at his residence. A memorial service will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Colomokee Baptist Church. Rev. Don Adams will officiate.

Born in Marianna, FL, Carl resided most of his adult life in Albany. Carl was preceded in death by a son, Kyle Settles, a sister, Joy Gay, and his parents, J. C. (Blondie) and Jean Settles.

Survivors include a brother, Fred Settles of Galax, VA, two sisters, Brenda Geer and Jan Fleming both of Albany, GA, three nephews, Stephen (Sara) Geer of Atlanta, GA, Todd (Heather) Fleming of Albany, GA, and Forrest Gay of Clermont, FL, and a niece, Sally (Ryan) Boyd of Albany, GA.
