Camilla Cox Medley

Camilla Cox Medley, 85, of Albany, GA died Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Graveside services will be conducted Friday, January 30, 2015 at 4:00 PM at Floral Memory Gardens. Rev. Reagan Marsh will officiate.

Mrs. Medley was born in Colquitt, GA to the late Tom and Lillie Mae Cox and graduated from Miller County High School. In 1952, she and her late husband Loyce Medley moved to Albany, GA. Mrs. Medley was a homemaker, member of Beacon Baptist Church where she kept the nursery for many years and cooked on Wednesday nights. She was preceded in death by two sons, Tony Ray Medley and Ted Medley.

Survivors include her son, Tommy Medley and his wife, Cheryl of Columbus, GA, a daughter, Marian Corbin and her husband, Donnie of Albany, GA, four grandchildren, Todd Davis and his wife, Kim of Albany, GA, Tommy Medley, Jr. of Leesburg, GA, Melinda Muliford and his husband, Joey of Worth County, GA and Marcy Schneider and her husband, Rick of Albany, GA and thirteen great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends following the service at Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery.
