Buddy Boyd Siebenborn

Buddy Boyd Siebenborn, 65, of Leesburg, GA passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at Magnolia Manor in Americus, GA. Visitation will be held on October 20, 2024, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home Albany, GA. 

Born April 2, 1959, in Trenton, MO to Jon and Sue Siebenborn, Buddy graduated from Trenton High School in 1979. One frigid morning, he got into his car to go to work, and the seat split due to the temperatures, so he made a decision that day to get a one-way ticket to Albany, GA where his aunt and uncle, Jan and Joan Siebenborn, lived. 

In 1976, he was painting an apartment, and met a beautiful Japanese woman, Emiko. She came to the US to study English. They married on August 9, 1981. He worked several places in Albany until he settled at Hitec Motor Parts & Service in 1991 where he was a machinist and cylinder head guru. He loved riding motorcycles, cycling, and racing RC boats.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sue Siebenborn and father and mother in-law, Kogi and Kiyoko Nakamura.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Emiko Nakamura Siebenborn, of Leesburg, GA, father Jon Siebenborn of Trenton, MO, brother Christy(Rikki) Siebenborn of Trenton, MO, nephew Wayne Siebenborn of Trenton, MO, brother in law Yoshiaki(Eriko) Nakamura Okayama, Japan, nephews Tadashi(Tomoe) Nakamura Okayama, Japan and Yusuke(Kanako) Nakamura Kanagawa, Japan, and special cousins Leah Siebenborn Albany, GA, Janette(Michael) Durden Westminster, CO, Janet(Rick) Lake Humphreys, MO, Jill Southers, Billy(Debbie) Southers, Chuck Bonnett(Lori Croley) Trenton, MO, Vicki Lande(Mark Ryan) Lucas, IA, Doug Bonnett(Mary Brummer) Unionville, MO, Greg Bonnett, Frank(Carla) Gladfelter Chillicothe, MO, Vilynda(Lyn) Hague Camdenton, MO, and Susie McLean Branson, MO.
