Brian Lewis Tyus

Brian Lewis Tyus, 42, of Albany, GA died Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at his residence. Memorial services will be held Monday at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Bishop Roy Tolman will officiate.

Born in Montgomery, AL, Brian grew up in Lee County, GA graduating from Lee County High School in 1992, and moved to Albany in 2001. He was employed with the City of Albany for sixteen years as a crew supervisor. Brian was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and loved to deer hunt. He was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Edwin Tyus.

Survivors include his wife, Kristy Strawder Tyus, his three children, Madyson Tyus, Kayleigh Tyus, and Thierry Tyus all of Poulan, GA, his mother, Dorothy Tyus, two sisters, Kelly Cottingham (John) and Jennifer Rojas (Simon) all of Spanaway, WA and a number of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

The family is at the residence of Johnny and Terry Strawder, 2307 12th Ave., Albany, GA, 31707.
