Brian Hatcher

Brian Neil Hatcher, born on March 22, 1968 in Albany, GA, passed away on September 11, 2024 in same city at the age of 56.  

His funeral service will be 3:00 pm Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Mathews Funeral Home, a private interment will follow. Rev. Tommy Gay officiating. 

A graduate of Riverview Academy, Brian was known for his profound commitment to his family, often seen in the pride and love he expressed for his son, Maddox. 

Brian was a loving son and brother, a loyal friend, a devoted husband and a proud father. His caring heart and loving spirit were evident in every aspect of his life, particularly in his dedication to his family and his joy in sharing stories about his son’s accomplishments and character. An avid outdoorsman, he found peace and happiness in hunting and fishing, embracing the tranquility of nature. 

He leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion that will be cherished by his surviving family member, his parents, Buster and Darlene Hatcher, his wife Jessica Hatcher, son Maddox Hatcher, brother, Michael Hatcher (Amy), sister, Lisa Griffin (Van), many nephews, great nephews and great nieces. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Edith Murdock and L. H. and Nadelle Hatcher. 

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 PM on Saturday at Mathews Funeral Home.
