Brenda Bain Scott

Brenda Bain Scott, 73, of Lee County, passed away Saturday May 03, 2014 at her residence. The family will hold a private interment at Paran Baptist Church Cemetery, Melrose, FL., at a later date.

Born in Tampa, FL, she graduated from Baker High School in Columbus, GA, and obtained an associate's degree from Northwestern State University of Louisiana. She worked in civil services as a project manager and retired after thirty one years of service. She formerly volunteered with the Red Cross and was a member of St. Patrick's Episcopal Church in Albany, GA.

Survivors include her husband, Bob Carter of Lee County, her children, Reba Bergeron of Alachua, FL, Rhonda (Terry) Coleman of Sumter, S.C., Rick (Charlotte) Scott of Jacksonville, FL, Rob (Daisy) Scott of Fleming Island, FL, J.D. (Mary Anne) Carter of Conway, AR, Rob (Christie) Carter of Ft. Smith, AR, Brian Carter of Portland, OR and David Carter of Rogers, AR, seventeen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
