Brenda Glover

Brenda Douglas Glover, 66, of Albany, GA died December 4, 2017 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 A.M. at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Ronnie Youngblood will officiate. Interment will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. A native of Cordele, Brenda moved to Albany during Grammer School and graduated from Albany High School in 1969. She attended the University of North Carolina and received an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene. Brenda had been employed with Dr. Mitchell Flynn, Dr. Carl Findley and retired with Dr. Leon Richman in LaGrange, GA. She was a member of Porterfield Memorial United Methodist Church and enjoyed gardening and spending time with friends and family, especially her three granddaughters. She also loved her pets. Survivors include her husband, Howard E. Glover and her son and his wife, Alan and Brannon Medley all of Albany, a brother and his wife, Ronnie and Eleene Youngblood of Arabi, GA and three grandchildren, Avery Medley, Rilyn Medley and Piper Medley. She was preceded in death by her son, Bradley Pike and her parents, Dr. James E. Douglas and Myrtle Gibbs Douglas. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home.
