It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brenda Bradley, a beloved grandmother “BB”, teacher, and storyteller, who left us on August 16, 2024. Her life was a testament to the power of love, laughter, learning, and faith. Born in Moultrie, GA, spent most of her life in Albany, GA. but Moultrie was always Home. She was retired from Lee County Elementary School and was a member of Life Gate Church.
Her laugh was truly contagious and brought joy to everyone around her. Whether she was sharing a funny story or simply enjoying a moment with loved ones, her laughter was a beacon of happiness.
Above all, Brenda Bradley “BB” loved her family deeply. She was the heart of family gatherings, always ready with a hug, a kind word, and a story to share. Survivors include her children, Doug Bradley (Stacey), Beth Barfield (Brian) and David Bradley (Sierra), grandchildren, Kaitlyn Eddings (Darrin), Sarah Bradley, Jake Bradley, Charlie Bradley, Reagan Gaskin (Ryan), Rylee Barfield, West Bradley, Samara Bradley, Sawyer Bradley, sister, Phyllis Fuches (Mike).
Her strong faith was a cornerstone of her life. She found great comfort in her beliefs and looked forward to reuniting with her loved ones in heaven. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, William Author “Bill” Bradley, her mother, Lavada Mims Miller, her two brothers, Thomas Franklin Barry Jr. and Tony Zaiter, and her father, Thomas Franklin "Pete" Barry. This faith gave her strength and peace, and it is a comfort to all who knew her that she is now at rest with her family in the eternal embrace of Jesus.
