Braddis (Don) Ladon Forehand

Braddis Ladon (Don) Forehand, 77 of Leesburg, GA died Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Chuck Smith will officiate. Interment will follow in Leesburg Cemetery.

A native of Blakely, GA, Mr. Forehand had resided in Albany since he was a young man. He retired as a heavy equipment operator for Flanigan Plumbing Company before being employed with Mossy Dell Plantation. Mr. Forehand was a member of Kinchafoonee Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Jean Shiver Forehand and a brother, Wilmer Forehand.

Survivors include two daughters, Patsy Hobbs and her husband, Harold of Lee Co., GA and Becky Grier and her husband, Larry of Riverdale, GA, three sons, Victor Haire of Lee Co., GA, Phillip Haire and his wife, Pam of Jonesboro, GA and Bruce Haire and his wife, Trisha of Lee Co., GA, nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends, Saturday one hour prior to the service at Mathews Funeral Home.
