Bobby Lee (Bob) Studdard, 83, of Montezuma, Georgia, died November, 20, 2013, at The Oaks Nursing Home in Marshallville, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anne B. Studdard; his parents, Robert Lee Studdard and Cleopatra Kelley Studdard; brother, Donald Dean Studdard; and sister, Mary Nell Studdard Whittington. He is survived by four children, Pam S. Fredebeil (Mike) of Jasper, Georgia, Robert C. Studdard (Gina) of Flowery Branch, Georgia, Patty H. Rumph (David) of Montezuma, Georgia, and Cleveland J. Harp of New York, New York; ten grandchildren, Carly C. Wood of Jasper, Georgia; Sally R. Haugabook (Steven) of Watkinsville, Georgia, David M. Rumph (Brady) of Columbus, Georgia, Jim H. Rumph of Atlanta, Georgia, Heidi M. Fredebeil and Matthew C. Fredebeil both of Huntsville, Alabama, Sarah Fredebeil of Jasper, Georgia, Andrew Hill (Dessie), Savannah Holcomb (Josh), Matthew Hill (Crystal) all of Flowery Branch, Georgia; and, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Born in Camp Hugh, AL, Mr. Studdard served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean conflict. An avid golfer, he was assistant golf pro at Radium Springs CC, in Albany, Georgia during the late 50's and early 60's. He worked a number of years for Southern Frozen Foods in Montezuma, GA and Fresno, CA and he retired from Lykes Brothers in Dade City, FL as a labor relations negotiator. He was a member of Montezuma United Methodist Church.
Graveside services will be held Friday, November 22, 2013 at1:00 P.M., at Bertha Dozier Memorial Cemetery in Montezuma, Georgia.
