Blanche Booth Thaden

Ruby Blanche Booth Thaden, 93, of Albany, GA, passed away Sunday, January 6, 2013 at Willson Hospice House. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Crown Hill Cemetery. Pastor Britt Priddy and John Tracy will officiate.

Mrs. Thaden was born in Pensacola, Florida on July 5, 1919. She was the daughter of the late Samuel Nathaniel Booth and Lettie JHazel Morrell Booth. She was an active member of Avalon United Methodist Church and the Pairs and Spares Sunday School Class until she was no longer able to attend services. She was an excellent seamstress and a great southern cook. She will be missed by her family and friends for her wonderful spirit and selfless attitude.

Mrs. Thaden was preceded in death by her husband of sixty two years, Charles H. Thaden, one infant grandchild and all of her brothers and sister.

She is survived by her daughter, Sherry T. Tracy (John) of Albany, GA, her son, H. Daniel Allen (Colleen) of North Carolina as well as two grandchildren, Lori A. Bush and James T. Bush and four great-grandchildren, Brady M. Manley, Lacy S, Manley, Hunter D. Bush and Kaelin S. Bush.

Mrs. Thaden will be missed for her work in Avalon United Methodist Women, Albany Hemeracalis Club, Boy and Girls Scouts of America, the Golden Key Club and the 49'ers Club of Avalon United Methodist Church.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to graveside funeral services at Crown Hill Cemetery.
