Billy Joe (Billy) Brannon

Billy Joe (Bill) Brannon, 75, of Albany, GA died December 24, 2012 at his residence. Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00 PM at Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery. Rev. Allen W. Haas will officiate.

A native of Slocomb, AL, born to Jessie and Anne Bell Brannon, Mr. Brannon had resided in Albany, GA since 1970 moving from Bainbridge, GA. He was employed as a manager with Winn-Dixie Stores and retired after forty five years. Mr. Brannon was a member of Amazing Grace Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Lorraine Hass Brannon of Albany, GA, four children, Ricky (Sharon) Brannon and David (Sherry) Brannon all of Albany, GA, Andy Brannon of Baldwin, GA and Chris Brannon of Albany, GA, two brothers, Royce (Tiny) Brannon of Pelham, GA and Kenneth Brannon of Newton, GA, a sister, Mary Frances Harrison of Cairo, GA. He was preceded in death by a brother and sister, T.J. Brannon and Barbara Ann King.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home.
