Billie Ray (Bill) Nisbeth, 73, of Albany, GA died Monday, May 28, 2012 at Wynfield Park Health and Rehab, Albany, GA. Memorial services will be held Saturday at 2:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home. Pastor Earl Steffens will officiate.
A native of Bennington, KS, Mr. Nisbeth had resided in Albany, GA for the past thirty one years, moving from Kansas. He was the President of the Class of 1957 at Bennington High School in Bennington, KS, where he also lettered in sports and was active in the Black and Gold Band and was also an avid NASCAR fan. He was the owner of BNP Water Service and worked for Devencrest RV Center. Mr. Nisbeth was of the Lutheran Faith.
Survivors include his wife, Peg Nisbeth of Albany, GA, two sons, Dwayne Nisbeth of Bennington, KS and G.S. Nisbeth and his wife, Melissa of Farmington, NM, a step-daughter, Donita Barlow and her husband, Chuck of Abilene, KS, a step-son, Gary Putnam and his wife, Tiffany of Wichita, KS, two sisters, Carolyn Horting and her husband, Larry of Bennington, KS, Sharolyn Geiger and her husband, Charles of Daytona Beach, FL and numerous grandchildren.
The family will receive friends following the memorial service at Mathews Funeral Home.
