Betty Ione Rustin

Mrs. Betty Ione Rustin, age 79, passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at Phoebe Putney North Memorial Hospital. Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 28, at 2:00 PM at the Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Bobby Moye will officiate. The family will greet friends following the service at the funeral home.

Born to the late William and Ione Sumner Hancock, Mrs. Rustin was a native and lifelong resident of the Albany and then Leesburg. She retired from Data Processing at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital and attended Thundering Springs Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband Cecil Rustin of Leesburg, and her Son Neil Rustin and his wife Celeste of Florida.
