Betty Joyce Mossburg

Betty J. Mossburg, 84, of Albany, GA, died October 18, 2015 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Byne Memorial Baptist Church. Dr. Kerry Reeves will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour before the service.

A native of Baghdad, FL, Mrs. Mossburg spent fifty-six years of her adult life in Bluffton, IN and had resided in Albany, GA since 2007. She was employed with CVS Pharmacy in Bluffton. Betty was a very active member of Byne Memorial Baptist Church in Albany as well as Hope Missionary of Bluffton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude L. Mossburg in 2012.

Survivors include her daughter and her husband, Sandy K. Wingard and Col. Joe Wingard (Ret.) of Albany, GA, two grandchildren, Lucus Wingard of Lee County, GA and Rachel Wingard Rodriquez and her husband, Juan of Atlanta, GA, her sisters, Doris Wentz and her husband, George of Tampa, FL and Mary Alice Cumbie and her husband, Wallace of Apalachicola, FL, her brother, Jim Pendleton and his wife, Sandy of Apalachicola, FL, a sister-in-law, Mary Mossburg of Rome City, IN and a number of nieces and nephews.
