Betty Jean Clark

Betty Jean Clark, 86, of Albany, GA died Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Wynfield Park. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Mathews Funeral Home. Ross Powell will officiate. Interment will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery. Born in Mitchell County, GA to Wiley Maloy and Jewell Maloy, Mrs. Clark graduated from Pelham High School. She had lived in Albany since 1962 where she was employed with J C Penney and made a loving home for her family. She was a member of Sherwood Baptist Church, the Agape Sunday School Class, and the Gold Key Club. Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her husband, Adwon H. Clark, her daughter, Rhonda Fudge, her brothers, Delmus (Buddy) Maloy, Fred Maloy, and Carl Maloy and her sisters, Wylene “Teency” Crosby and Bobbie Sue Eidson. Survivors include her son, Cleve Croft and his wife, Vicki and her daughter, Gina Peak on all of Albany, GA, her grandchildren, Dr. Jason Croft, DMD (Ellison) of Gainesville, GA, Kevin Croft, Albany, GA, Shelton Murdock (Jaimie) of Dawson, GA, Jennifer Fudge Bennett (Matt) of Petoskey, MI, Leslee Wood (Robbie) of Camilla, GA and Beth Peak of Albany, GA and seven great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Mathews Funeral Home.
