Betty M. Bailey

Betty M. Bailey, 76, of Albany, GA, died Friday, October 21, 2011. A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, October 29 at 10:00 AM at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Wesley Kaylor and Jeremy Jones will officiate.

A native of Iaeger, WV, Mrs. Bailey had resided in Albany since 1991, moving from Island Lake, IL. She was a retired Forklift Operator with Baxter's Pharmaceutical Company and was of the Baptist Faith. Mrs. Bailey was preceded in death by her husband, James Thomas Bailey, her parents, Clarence Murphy and Ruth Marlin Murphy, two sisters, Helen Bailey and Kathleen Addair, two brothers, Cecil Murphy and Charles Murphy.

Survivors include a sister and her husband, Barbara and Darele Kennedy of Hurricane, WV, a brother, Vernice Fraley of Iaeger, WV and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends following the service at Mathews Funeral Home.
