Bessie Laverne Forehand, 51, of Dougherty Co., GA, died Friday, September 12, 2014 at her residence. Graveside funeral services will be held Friday, September 19, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Thundering Springs Cemetery. Rev. Chris Hurt will officiate.

Born in Brunswick, GA, Mrs. Forehand had resided in Albany, GA and Dougherty Co., GA all of her adult life. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Parrish and Bessie Morris Parrish and a brother Ronald Parrish.

Survivors include her husband, Wilmer D. Forehand, Worth Co., GA, four sons, Wilmer D. Forehand, Jr., Dougherty Co., GA, Anthony Dewayne Forehand, Sylvester, GA, Timothy Lee Forehand, Dougherty Co., GA, Richard Allen Forehand, Sylvester, GA, two daughters, Christinia Orr, Mitchell Co., GA, Kimberly Parrish, Dougherty Co., GA, five sisters, Sally Hardy, Lee Co., GA, Linda Flemming, Worth Co., GA, Patsy Morris, Mitchell Co., GA, Rosa Lee Blakey, Sylvester, GA, Patricia Parrish, Savannah, GA, three brothers, Thomas Parrish, Worth Co., GA, Buddy Parrish, Lee Co., GA, David Parrish, Sumter, Co., GA, a nephew, Billy Ray Forehand, Pearl River, LA and four grandchildren.
