Bertha Mae Kelley

Bertha Mae Kelley, 74, of Albany, GA, died Saturday, October 27, 2012, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Memorial services will be conducted Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Mathews Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Deans officiating.

Mrs. Kelley was a native of Springvale, GA, and resided in Albany most of her life and was active at the SOWEGA Council on Aging. Among her children she raised two with special needs.

Survivors include three sons, Richard H. Kelley, Albany, Johnny R. Kelley, Virginia, and Jim Flowers, Dothan, AL, a daughter, Mattie E. Carter, Albany, three sisters, Sarah Barfield of Leesburg, GA, Mary Nell Walker and her husband Roger of Kamiah, ID and Ellen Kibbee and her husband, Roger of Sylvester, GA, two brothers, Jimmy Reese of Springvale, GA and Edwin Reese and his wife, Shirley of Cuthbert, GA seven grandchildren, Brooke, Travis, Hunter, Nicole, John, Cedric, and Jack, and one great-grandchild, Mariah.

The family will receive friends following the memorial service.
