Benny Frank Jones

Benny Frank Jones, 73, of Albany, died Thursday, November 27th at his home.

A native of Cuthbert, GA. Benny graduated from Cuthbert High School in 1959 and enlisted in the United States Air Force serving his country proudly. Mr. Jones was a mechanic by trade with Keenan Auto Parts. In 1975 he graduated from Albany Tech with a diploma in Diesel Mechanics, became an instructor and enjoyed teaching his students until his retirement in 1999. He loved watching the Atlanta Braves, hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife of 52 1/2 years, Marietta (Gigi) Jones, son and daughter in law, Kelly and Robin Jones, Daughter Jo Ann Revell and Steve Smith, 4 grandchildren, Jaysie, Ally, Clay and Brian, 3 Great Grandchildren Lily, Grace and Noah and 2 Sisters and Brother in Laws, Linda and Neal Blanton of Macon and Mariann and Paul Strozier of Ohio.
