Beebe Patricia Harrison was born on October 25, 1943 in Salina, Kansas to Beebe Ray Harrison and Daisy Pauline Blizzard Harrison. As the eldest of six siblings, she embraced her role as a caring and nurturing sister, eventually becoming a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. A resident of Leesburg, Beebe brought love and joy to everyone.
Affectionately known as Mimi, Beebe was deeply cherished by family and friends alike. A lifelong member of the United Methodist Church, her warmth and generosity were evident in her love of cooking and baking, where she found great joy in bringing comfort to others through food. Beebe retired from Food Lion as a Bakery and Deli manager in Ellijay, GA. She enjoyed spending her time playing cards, solving puzzles, and engaging in Bingo games with her friends. An avid reader with a lifelong passion for coffee, she found joy in the simple pleasures life had to offer.
On the morning of December 28, 2024 Beebe passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 81, surrounded by her loved ones. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Frank Stephen Harrison, her sister Amy Ruth Brady, and her son Leslie Wayne Seaborn.
Beebe’s legacy lives on through her surviving family: her daughter, Deborah Christine (Joseph) Johnson of Myrtle Beach, SC; her three sisters, Daisy Irene (Sonny) Harrison of Eufaula, AL, Connie Ann Brown, and Regina Dianne Summerford both of Leesburg, GA. Other survivors include four grandchildren: Joshua Craig (Dawn) Bowyer of Dallas, GA, Jeri Lynne Curtis, Jamie Allan (Kristen) Bowyer both of Blairsville, GA, and Leslie Ryan Seaborn of Spokane, WA. Her seven great-grandchildren—Colin Joseph Curtis, Peyton Ryleigh Curtis, Kennedy Rey Bowyer, Markus Veince Bowyer, Lucien Atticus Bowyer, Eleanor Kate Bowyer, and Emilia Rae Seaborn—all carry forward her loving spirit. In addition, Beebe leaves behind seven nieces and nephews, eighteen grandnieces and nephews, six great-grandnieces and nephews, and an abundance of dear friends who will miss her deeply.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Lung Association in her honor. Beebe Patricia Harrison’s life was one filled with love, kindness, and a profound impact on everyone who knew her. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.
