Beatrice Carlene Holley Hammock, 84, of Albany, GA, died Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, May 3, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Southside Baptist Church. Rev. Bill Suggs and Rev. Chuck Smith will officiate. Interment will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, Quincy, FL.
A native of Sylvania, GA, Mrs. Hammock had resided in Albany, GA for the past seventy years. She was a home maker, a volunteer at the Soup Kitchen at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and was a member of Southside Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Grover Cleveland Holley and Julia Duck Holley, husband, Sam Hammock, four brothers, Sanitol Holley, Dwight Holley, Foy Holley, Ferrell Holley, three sisters, Gladys Harness, Lorene Harrod, Evelyn Gatlin and a grandson, David Trent.
Survivors include two daughters, Charlotte Bair, Albany, GA, Elaine Myers (Donald), Marianna, FL, a son, Pete Hammock (Tammy), Albany, GA, two sister-in-laws, Josi Holley and Juanita Holley both of Hosford, FL, seven grandchildren, Debi Bair Luttrell, Albany, GA, Robbie Bair, Albany, GA, Jennifer Kramer, Lakeland, FL, Holly Ellis (Brandon), Marianna, FL, Amber Dominey (Randall), Kittery, ME, Aly Hargrove (Josh), Culleoka, TN, Abby Hammock, Albany, GA, four great-grandchildren, Daulton Luttrell, Albany, GA, Daniel Burke (Lindsey), Perry, GA.
Johnathan Luttrell, Leesburg, GA and Camren Trent-Ramos, Davie, FL, two great-great-grandchildren, Hunter Burke, Perry, GA and Draven Luttrell, Leesburg, GA and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM Thursday at Mathews Funeral Home.
