Beatrice T. Allen

Beatrice Turner Allen, 71, of Albany, GA died March 25, 2018 at Wynfield Park Health and Rehabilitation. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at 11:00 AM Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Hilton Gillespie will officiate. Interment will follow in Cordray United Methodist Church Cemetery. Beatrice was one of fourteen children born in Calhoun County, GA to the late Dewitt and Hazel Turner. She married Jimmie Allen and lived in Leary, GA before moving to Leesburg, GA in 1965. Beatrice was employed with MacGregor Golf, M & M Mars and retired from Delphi after twenty-seven years. She was a member of Cordray United Methodist Church and loved to quilt, go camping, cooking, gardening and was a devoted wife and mother, and grandmother. Survivors include her husband, Jimmie Allen, three children, Gail (Jimmy) Sheffield, Randy Allen and Dale Allen all of Leesburg, GA, her siblings, John Turner of Leesburg, GA, Betty (Edward) Sheffield of Edison, GA, Luke Turner of Morgan, GA, Louise (Roy) Roney of Edison, GA and Berthaline Schwartz of WA, two grandchildren, Derrick (Roxy) Sheffield of Waycross and Jeremy (Jaylan) Sheffield of San Antonio, TX and two great-grandchildren, Daxston Sheffield and Ramsey Jae Sheffield of Waycross. She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings Bobby Turner, W.D. Turner, Lucille Bowman, Martha Turner, Anna Barbara Moore, and James Turner.
