Barry Steven Golden, 65, of Albany, GA, died Sunday, February 15, 2015 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Northgate Presbyterian Church. Rev. Richard O. Smith, Jr. will officiate. Interment will follow in the Newton City Cemetery, Newton, GA.

Born in Villa Rica, GA, Mr. Golden had resided in Albany, GA for the past years fifteen years before moving from Jasper, GA. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the Navy and was a self- employed locksmith before his retirement, He was a member of Northgate Presbyterian Church and was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Herschel Golden and Reba Belle Griffies Golden.

Survivors include his wife, Melissa Brooks Golden, Albany, GA, a son, Christian Golden, Chicago, IL, a daughter, Verity Maddux, Murrieta Springs, CA, two sisters, Joanna Ray, Jasper, GA, Nancy King, Ocala, FL and three grandchildren.
