Ashley Delano King

Ashley Delano King, 58, of Leesburg, GA, died March 9, 2013 at Willson Hospice House. A visitation and viewing was held Sunday from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home.

A native of Albany, GA, Mr. King graduated from Albany High School in 1972. He served in the United States Army and was employed with North Haven Electrical. for fourteen while he lived in Fairbanks, AK. Mr. King returned to Leesburg, GA in 2012. He was a former Mason and member of Hasan Shriners. He was a lifetime member of the NRA and a Baptist by faith.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Bullington King of Leesburg, GA, his children, Michelle Ponder King Doniphan and her husband, Chris of Marietta, GA and Michael Alan King of Hawkinsville, GA, his mother and step-father, Kathryn Underwood and Haywood Griner of Panama City, Fl, his grandchildren, Seth Doniphan and Evan Doniphan of Marietta, GA and Olivia Anderson of Atlanta, GA, his grandparents, Ralph and Vera Sanders, a brother, Darren Keith King, and a sister, Sheryl Diane Majors and her husband, Gareth all of Panama City, FL, two step-sons, David Anderson of Savannah, GA and Jeffrey Anderson and his wife, Brittany of Atlanta, GA.
