Ashley Lynn Gervin

Ashley Lynn Gervin, 36, of Albany, GA, transitioned home on July 16, 2018 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.  Graveside funeral services will be held Friday, July 20, 2018 at Crown Hill Cemetery at 11:00 A.M. Reverends John Spencer and Mark Scardino will officiate the service.  

Miss Gervin was a native and lifelong resident of Albany, GA.  She graduated from Westover Comprehensive High School and attended Albany Technical College where she received her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and a host of educational certificates. Miss Gervin was employed with The Dougherty County School System as a Special Education Para Professional and impacted many lives of children and all those around her. Ashley was also a member of the Georgia Teachers Association, a staple within the Xtreme Ryderz Motorcycle Club, and attended Sherwood Baptist Church. Ashley lived a life dedicated to loving and caring for others and truly left a mark on every soul she encountered.  

Survivors include her mother and father, Catherine M. Gervin and Theotis Gervin both of Albany, GA, her four siblings, Stephanie Miller of Albany, GA, Nakeesha Blumhardt of Grayson, GA, Tiffany Watson and Crystal Gervin both of Albany, GA and several nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends and guests from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday July 19, 2018 at Mathews Funeral Home.
