Arthur Wayne Apon, Jr.

Arthur Wayne Apon, Jr. 75, of Albany, GA., died Saturday, December 23, 2023 at Willson Hospice House. By the wishes of Mr. Apon, he will be cremated with no formal services being held.

Mr. Apon was born in Parris Island, SC., and served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a very talented woodworker and could build anything anybody asked of him. Mr. Apon’s talents were not only limited to woodworking being a “jack of all trades” he mastered everything he set his mind to. He was preceded in death by his brother Bobby Apon and a sister Sherry Copeland.

Survivors include his wife Barbara Apon, his daughters Nena Cook (Stacy) and Heather Ferguson (Thom), his grandchildren, Tanner Cook, Tyler Cook (Cheynne Colvin), Hannah Ferguson (Conner McPherson) and Gabriel Ferguson (Hali Waight) and five great grandchildren.
