Antwan Q. Evans

Antwan Evans was born November 18, 1985 in Albany, Georgia to Beverly Evans and the late Jasper C. Evans.

He confessed Christ at an early age and was baptized in 1993 and became a member of the Piney Grove Baptist Church in Bronwood, Georgia under the leadership of Rev. H. C. Wilson.  There he served as a junior usher. He later joined New Macedonia Baptist Church of Albany under the leadership of his grandfather, Rev. Albert Bob, Jr where he continued to serve at Ephraim Fellowship Ministries .  He continued to worship the Lord wherever he lived.

He attended the public schools of Dougherty County, Georgia.  After graduation, he attended Darton College and Albany Technical College.  He obtained his Commercial Driver’s License from the technical school.  He drove tractor trailer trucks saving money for college. At the end of his driving career, he enrolled in Albany State University. After completing several semesters at the university, he later enrolled at Auburn University in Auburn,Alabama where he obtained a degree in Electrical Engineering. Once he completed his Bachelor’s Degree, he was employed as an engineer at Opti Medical of Atlanta and later as an engineer at Sonnett Technology of Atlanta.

Antwan was a born leader.  He was very humorous and entertaining guy. He was an accomplished entrepreneur. Antwan was self-taught in many areas to include drums, bass guitar, keyboard and creating musical beats for singers and other musicians. He became a music composer and a music producer.  As a result of his many talents, he started his own music company, “TE Beatz” and also started his second business, “Infinite Electronic Repair”, servicing I-phone screens, TV screens, computers, and other electronic repairs. His third business venture led him to start working in Real Estate.

On Tuesday, October 23rd, 2018, he was called from labor to reward.  He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Rev. Albert Bob, Jr., and his father, Jasper C. Evans.

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving mother, Beverly Evans, brother Jason Evans, and two beautiful children, Braxton Zachariah and Nuri Kelise; maternal grandmother, Laura Bob, aunts and uncles; a host of cousins (Antwan and his cousins were all raised and lived as sisters and brothers); and a host of family members and friends.
