Annette "Midge" Nesbitt

Annette “Midge” Dillard Nesbitt, 79, of Leesburg, GA, died Monday, April 3, 2023 at her residence. Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 8, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Joseph Howard will officiate.  

Midge was born on March 22, 1944 in Cordele, GA to the late Curtis and Nina Jane Hall Dillard. She enjoyed a long career as a special needs School Bus Driver, for Lee County and Crisp County School System. She truly cared for her  passengers and took much pride in her job. Midge loved animals: her dog, Pookie, and her cat, Oreo. But most of all she deeply loved her children and her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Evelyn Wilbanks and her aunt Eva Brantley.

Survivors include her children, Cindy Dominey (Craig) of Lee Co., Christie Pare of Monroe, GA, grandchildren, Mason Dominey of Atlanta, GA, Gabriel Dominey of Lee Co., Mallory Pare and Lawson Pare of Monroe, GA, brother, Gene Dillard (Anita) of Canton, GA, nieces, Susan Barker (Gary) of Cordele GA, Pattie Weed (Jeff) of Marietta, GA, nephews, D.V. Wilbanks of Cordele, GA, Randall Dillard (Kathy) of Marietta, GA. 

The family would like to thank Selina Wilson and Barbara Gloria of Phoebe Hospice for taking such loving care of their Mother during her illness.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm before the service at Mathews Funeral Home.
