Annette T. Miles, 86, of Albany, GA, died January 21, 2016 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Roy Cook and Rev. Troy Fripp will officiate. Interment will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Will Sims, Richard Thomas, Matthew Miles, Brian Klein, Martin Miles and Clinton Miles III.
Mrs. Miles was born in Alapaha, GA to the late John and Ina Bell Tucker. She moved to Albany, GA and graduated from Albany High School. Mrs. Miles was the retired bookkeeper for Miles Plastering, was a member of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) and was a member of Gillionville Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Clinton (Butch) Miles, Jr., and his wife Holley of Hilton Head Island, SC, three daughters, Susie M. Faulk of Albany, GA, Jackie Miles of Clayton, GA and Cindi Miles of Leesburg, GA, a brother, Aaron Tucker of Lake Lanier, GA, seven grandchildren, Clinton Miles, III and his wife, Laura Leigh of Daufuskie Island, SC, Martin Miles and his wife, Rebecca of Bluffton, SC, Matthew Miles of Buford, SC, Aimee Farmer, Erin Faulk and Brian Klein and his wife, Suzy all of Albany, GA and Brad (B.J.) Heard, Jr. and his wife, Jan of Leesburg, GA and nine great-grandchildren. She was recently preceded in death by her husband, Clinton Miles, Sr. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Russell Tucker, Vincent Tucker, Frank Tucker, Wilson Tucker and Mary Moore.
The family will receive friends one hour before the funeral at Mathews Funeral Home.
