Annette Faye Middleton

Annette Faye Middleton, 81, of Bonaire, GA formerly of Albany, GA, died September 5, 2013 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 AM at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Lewis Cooper will officiate. Interment will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.

A native of Taunton, MA, Mrs. Middleton graduated from Taunton High School and had been a resident of Albany, GA since 1958. She had lived in Perry, GA since 2008, was a homemaker and a member of The First Baptist Church of Perry, GA.

While in Albany, GA, Mrs. Middleton was a member of Sherwood Baptist Church. She worked many years at Palmyra Park Hospital and Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital as a caregiver.

Mrs. Middleton enjoyed ready, tending to her plants, shopping and vacationing at the beach. She also loved spending time with the family she adored.

Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Vicki and Brian Purvis of Bonaire, GA, two sons and their wives, Steve and Kim Middleton of Albany, GA and Ken and Pam Middleton of Murfreesboro, TN, seven grandchildren, Mallory/Buddy McBride and Marla Middleton of Albany, GA, Drew Purvis and Grant Purvis both of Statesboro, GA, Nicole Purvis and Aaron Purvis both of Valdosta, GA and Hanna Middleton of Murfreesboro, TN and two great-grandchildren, Beau McBride and James McBride both of Albany, GA.

The family will be at the residence of Steve & Kim Middleton, 3705 Castle Pines Lane, Albany, GA, 31721.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM Sunday at Mathews Funeral Home.
