Annette Wills Collier, 81, of Albany, GA, died September 16, 2021, at Wynfield Park Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 24, 2021, at Mathews Funeral Home at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Collier was born in Worth County, GA on July 16, 1940 to Russell and Louise Parrish Wills. She grew up in Albany Georgia where she attended Albany Public Schools. She graduated from the University of Florida. Mrs. Collier is preceded in death by her parents Russell and Louise Parrish Wills and her husband Roy Glenn Collier.

She is survived by her son, Scott Glenn Collier; her cousin, Robert Thomas Parrish and his wife Suzanne; and several cousins.

Mrs. Collier loved books and worked for the Dougherty County Library System. She held story hour for children and used puppets and stuffed animals to bring stories alive. She was a life-long member of Sherwood Baptist Church. She loved the Church and spent many hours writing get well cards and sending pictures to the sick and infirm. Many friends called, visited, and prayed for Annette, and she treasured their friendships.

Thank you to the staff of Wynfield Park Health and Rehabilitation Center who provided exceptional care for Annette during her two years at the facility.
