Anne B Henderson

Anne B. Henderson, aka “Mammaw”, 90, of Albany, GA., died Thursday, June 6, 2024 at Manor Lake Assisted Living in Dawsonville, GA. Graveside services will be Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Crown Hill Cemetery, Albany, GA., Elder Clayton Nowell will officiate the service.

Born in Alabama, Mrs. Henderson lived most of her life in Albany, GA, with her husband of seventy years, Byron Henderson.

She is survived by her husband and five children: Merita Ott (Robert), Steve Henderson (Jeri), Teresa Davis (Melvin), Eddy Henderson (Karen), Bruce Henderson (Lynne), as well as eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Anne was a stay-at-home mother until her youngest child was in school. She then became employed by the Dougherty County School System. When she retired, she was the lunchroom manager at Northside Elementary School. She loved her job and everyone loved her. 

Her children were blessed to have her as a mother, her husband blessed to have her as a loving wife, and blessed are those who found her to be a kind and caring friend.
