Anna “Ann“ Lee Odom Hogan, 84, of Albany, GA passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at her daughter’s residence in Lee County, GA. Graveside funeral services will be held Friday, May 19, 2023 at 11:00 am at Warwick United Methodist Church Cemetery. Rev. Grady Morey will officiate.
Born in Doles, GA, Mrs. Hogan was raised in Warwick, GA and Oakfield, GA. She was a graduate of Warwick High School and attended Warwick United Methodist Church in her youth. She married her husband Earnest Wilburn Hogan in 1955. She was employed by Coats & Clark as a purchasing agent for forty-four years before her retirement in 2000. Mrs. Hogan volunteered with Albany Resource Center where she touched the lives of many special people every day and was a member of Westview Baptist Church where she served as pianist and organist.
Mrs. Hogan was preceded in death by her parents, Cullen Odom and Florence Whiddon Odom, her husband, Earnest Wilburn Hogan, and siblings, Bennie Odom and Mac Odom.
Survivors include her sons, Dwayne Hogan (Shari) and Earnest Dale Hogan all of Baconton, GA, her daughter, Debbie Johnston Andrews (Donnie), Lee County, GA, her sister, Jackie Fraser, Peachtree City, GA, sister-in-law, Becky Odom, Steinhatchee, FL, brother, Glynn Odom (Rosalyn), Ft. Payne, AL, grandchildren, Caroline Hogan Palmer (Kennon), Derick Hogan (Wendy), Machele Stice (Mike), and four great grandchildren, Aubrey Palmer, Avery Palmer, Nathan Hurst, Brodi Stice, and Macala Stice.
