Grace Ann Talley Crimmins, 91, of Albany, GA, died Thursday August 29, 2024 at Willson Hospice House in Albany, GA. Visitation will be Sunday September 1, 2024 2:00 PM First Methodist Church of Albany in Ford Hall. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM in the sanctuary. Rev. Jim Morrow and Rev. Laurel Griffith will officiate.
Born August 7, 1933 in Macon, GA to Philip Edgerton Talley and Grace Deal Talley, Ann graduated from A.L. Miller High School in 1951. She graduated from University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences and was a life member of the Phi Mu Sorority, Alpha Alpha Chapter.
Even though she never worked as a pharmacist, Ann ran her husbands, Laurence, private practice. To hear her tell it, he would never have made it through medical school if it wasn’t for her! Ann loved to garden, play cards with her friends, watch the Atlanta Braves, and spend time with her dear family. She was a true southern lady. She was a member of First Methodist Church of Albany, First Methodist Church Circle 9, National Society of the Colonial Dames of America (John Sumner Chapter), Daughters of the American Revolution (Thronateeska Chapter), and the Charity League of Albany.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Philip Edgerton Talley and Grace Amanda Deal Talley, a brother, Philip Edgerton Talley, Jr. and her husband, Dr. Laurence Tarver Crimmins, DVM, MD.
She is survived by her son Timothy (Tim) Edward Crimmins II (Alanda) Leesburg, GA, three grandchildren, Chad Crimmins Albany, GA, Erin Anderson (Chris) Leesburg, GA, and Lauren Caserio (Jason) Leesburg, GA, and six great-grandchildren, Carson Crimmins, Logan Crimmins, Blakely Aultman, Hudson Caserio, Reed Anderson, and Laney Anderson. She was preceded in death by her brother Philip Edgerton Talley Jr.
