Ann Odom Bush

Ann Odom Bush, 74, of Newton, GA., died Friday May 24, 2013 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Newton Baptist Church, Newton, GA. Rev. Chris Mullis and Rev. Jamie Sanders will officiate. Interment will follow in Newton City Cemetery.

Mrs. Bush was a life-long resident of Newton, GA and was the Baker County, GA tax collector before retirement. She was active in the WMU, a member of the choir and was one of the oldest members of Newton Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking and reading and was preceded in death by her parents, Purd Larkin Odom and Annie Mae Rhodes Odom and her husband, George L. Bush, Sr.

Survivors include a daughter, Julie A. Ledman and her husband Randy, Panama City Beach, FL, a sister, Mary Lou Odom Curles, Leesburg, GA, a step-son, George L. Bush, Jr., Newton, GA, a niece, Kim Curles Kinney and her husband Robert, Leesburg, GA and three grandchildren, Payton Ledman, Carsyn Ledman and Cade Ledman and many friends.
