Andrew "Drew" August Beisel, Jr.

Poker legend and gambling extraordinaire, Andrew August Beisel, passed away unexpectedly on April 17, 2018. He was a long time Florida Gator fan, even during the coaching years of the horrible Charley Pell. He is survived by his wife which he has said, "Is the best decision I ever made"; Gail Beisel. He is also survived by his four children which he was extremely proud of: Beth Beisel, Kim "Whitey" Heath, Pam "Dodger" Beisel-Sexton and Andy Beisel. He was also survived by his "hellion" granddaughters, Hayley and Hannah Heath; and his favorite (only!) grandson, Joshua Beisel. Drew went to heaven to be with his favorite and beloved dog, Powder. He would not let us put this in the Albany Herald as he said, "middle school children could write a better paper."
