Alva Darvis Power

Alva Power, 68 of Albany, GA died Friday, December 7, 2012 at Lillian Carter Health and Rehabilitation. Graveside services will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM at Crown Hill Cemetery. Rev. Ross Powell will officiate.

A native of Macon, GA, Mr. Power had resided in Albany since 1952. He was a member of Westview Baptist Church and AARC. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth Kearse and Linda Smith.

Survivors include his brother, Ray Power and his wife, Lucy of Albany, GA, a sister, Kay White and her husband, Carlton of Florida. Survivors also include a number of nieces and nephews.
