Alpha Robinson Sink

Alpha Robinson Sink, 92, of Albany, GA, died Friday, August 29, 2014 at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Byne Memorial Baptist Church. Rev. Charlie Brown will officiate. Interment will follow at 3:00 p.m. in Ochlocknee City Cemetery, Ochlocknee, GA. Rev. Merrill Coram will officiate.The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at Byne Memorial Baptist Church.

Born in Thomas Co., GA, to the parents of Charlie Guyton Robinson and Rhoda Bass Robinson, Mrs. Sink had resided in Albany, GA over sixty three years. She was retired from the City of Albany and Albany Police Department. She was a member of Byne Memorial Baptist Church for sixty three years where she taught Sunday school and was a member of the Women's Missionary Union and Happy Hearts. She was preceded in death by a great-grandchild, Andy Braxley.

Survivors include three sons, Fred Sink (Lynda), Buckhead, GA, Charles (Chuck) Sink (Bertha), Indialantic, FL and Robby Sink (Kak), Sylvester, GA, a sister, Myrtle Robinson Roberson (Robert), Ochlocknee, GA, seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
