Allie Ree Moree Stuart

Allie Ree Moree Stuart, 89, of Albany, GA died Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at Morningside Assisted Living. Graveside funeral services will be conducted Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Riverside Cemetery. Mr. Ross Powell will officiate.

Born in Ochlocknee, GA, Mrs. Stuart had resided in Albany, GA since 1978 moving from Roanoke, VA.

Allie Ree was a strong lady who would always brighten everyone's day with humor and spunk. She graduated from Georgia Southwestern College in 1946. She was best known as "Granny" for all those who had the pleasure to know her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Reuben V. Moree and Armellia Dollar Moree, her husband, James A. Stuart, and her son, James P. Rouse.

Survivors include a son, Kirk L. Rouse, Albany, GA, three grandsons, James P. Rouse Jr., his wife Donna, Albany, GA, Hudson G. Rouse, his wife Kathryn and K. Bradley Rouse, his wife Candace all of Atlanta, GA, four great-grandchildren, Stuart Rouse, Albany, GA, Isabella Rouse, Millicent Rouse and Branch Rouse all of Atlanta, GA.

A celebration visitation for friends and family will be held Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 2505 Kinloch Ct., Albany, GA, 31721 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
