Allen Johnson

Allen Johnson, 24, of Worth County, GA, died February 14, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Bobby Joe Brown will officiate. Interment will follow in Leesburg Cemetery.

A native of Lee County, GA, Allen moved to Worth County five years ago. He was employed with Chatman Construction Company and was a member of Byne Memorial Baptist Church. He loved to be with all his friends. He had a big heart, great sense of humor and was easy to love.

Survivors include his parents, James (Terri) Johnson of Worth County, GA and Gayle Burlison of Phenix City, AL, a brother, J.D. Johnson, Jr. of Lee County, GA, a sister, Summer Ann Griffin of Phenix City, AL, two step-brothers, Justin Lee Taylor and Wesley Taylor both of Worth County, GA, his grandparents, Derryl and Betty Johnson of Lee County, GA and Janice and Bill Miller of Worth County, GA and two uncles, Keith (Kelli) Burlison of Duluth, GA and Gregory (Michelle) Johnson of Camden, S.C.

The family will receive friends one hour before the funeral at Mathews Funeral Home.
