Allan Scott Gleaton

Allan Scott Gleaton, 56, of Albany, GA, died August 28, 2014. Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00 AM at Crown Hill Cemetery. Rev. Bobby Moye will officiate.

Allan was born April 25, 1958 to the late Everett and Mary Frances Gleaton in Kansas City, MO. Allan had lived in Albany, GA his entire life and graduated from Riverview Academy in 1976 and Auburn University.

Allan was the owner of Albany Financial Services. He was the former owner of Jaxx Liquiors and The Winery. He was a twenty five year member of the Tiger's Unlimited and the Southwest Georgia Auburn Club. Allan was also instrumental in initiating the Cleve Wester Scholarship Fund.

Survivors include his sister, Tonya Gleaton Kilpatrick and her husband, Bert of Santa Rosa Beach, FL, two nieces, Haley Kilpatrick Dozier and her husband, Paul of Atlanta, GA and Kelly Kilpatrick of Macon, GA, a nephew, Will Kilpatrick of Albany, GA and an aunt, Earlene Neely of Austin, TX. Allan was preceded in death by a brother, Nelson Gleaton.

Friends will be received following the graveside service at Crown Hill Cemetery.
