Alicia Ann Jones

Alicia Ann Jones, 62, of Shellman, GA passed away August 3, 2018 at her residence.  Memorial services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 AM at the Albany Family Worship Center.  Pastor Bobby Paul will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour before the funeral at the Center.

Alicia was a native of Albany, GA and was born to the late Austin and Alice Farris Lawson on April 26, 1956.  She graduated from Albany High School in 1974 and lived in Albany, Lee County and moved to Randolph County in 1998.  Alicia was employed with the Carlton Breast Center at Phoebe and was a member of the Albany Family Worship Center.  She enjoyed riding horses, especially “Red” and leaves behind her dog “Roscoe”.  Alicia loved the beach and shopping.  She was preceded in death by her brothers, Richard Lawson and Dana Lawson and a sister, Bea Lawson.

Survivors include her husband, Buddy Jones of Randolph County, GA, a daughter, Kristina “Krissy” Hill of Albany, GA, two brothers, Tommy Lawson and Jimmy (Linda) Lawson all of Albany, GA and two sisters, Linda Eaton of Greensboro, GA and Brenda (Johnny) Carroll of Vidalia, GA and nieces and nephews.
