Albert Lee Freeman

Albert L. Freeman, 68, of Lee County, GA, died May 12, 2018 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 AM at the Albany Grace Church of The Nazarene. Rev. David Miller and Rev. Hilton Gillespie will officiate. Interment will follow in Leesburg Cemetery.

Albert was a native of Albany, GA born on March 21, 1950 to Dennis and Amelda Freeman. He graduated from Albany High School in 1968 and was employed with Southern Concrete Company for twenty seven years. He attended Albany Grace Church of The Nazarene and he loved hunting and fishing. Albert was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Freeman.

Survivors include his wife, Glenda F. Freeman of Lee County, GA, his mother, Amelda Scott Freeman of Ft. Gaines, GA, his children, Keith Woods of Terrell County, GA, Chris Woods, Blythe Henderson and her husband, Mike and Hope Norris and her husband, Kevin all of Lee County, GA, a sister, JoAnn Braxton and her husband, Bob of Ft. Gaines, GA, a brother, Dennis Freeman and his wife, Elaine of Deer Park, TX and his grandchildren, Nathan Lane Woods, Josh Judy, Morgan Woods, Owen Woods, Layla Freeman, Lorelai Norris, and Ethan Bullington.

The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Mathews Funeral Home. Those desiring may make memorials in Alberts name to the charity of your choice.
